About Tribuna
Governments work for the people, not the other way around. Hold them accountable!
Tribuna is an independent, data-driven platform that measures public sentiment toward global leaders. Every rating you submit contributes to a transparent, real-time barometer of approval — across nations and continents.
How it works
Rate leaders on a 0–100 scale. Each vote is automatically categorized based on your country of citizenship:
- Local approval — votes from citizens of the same country as the leader.
- Global approval — votes from citizens of all other countries.
This dual view lets you compare a leader’s worldwide reputation with their domestic standing. On leader cards, the two bars (Global and Local) make this comparison immediate; on the Leaderboard you can switch between global-only and local-only rankings with a single tap.
Transparency & integrity
Data is anonymized and stored securely via Supabase. Each user can update their own rating at any time; the latest value replaces the previous one to prevent vote stuffing. Results refresh live across the site so you always see the most current consensus.
Methodology
Scores shown on the Leaderboard and Map are averages of user ratings. Global and Local scores are computed separately so perceptions can be compared side by side. Historical charts display daily averages over time. Upcoming versions will add deeper statistical controls and normalization.
